Gucci Grammy Travelling Exhibition

Uniting Music, Fashion, and Philanthropy through Global Exhibition Design

01/2011

Gucci Timepieces and Jewelry is known for its craftsmanship, its designs, and its technology. Lesser known are the company's philanthropic ventures. Since 2011, it has worked hand-in-hand with the GRAMMY®'s Music Preservation Programme to help restore original tracks from legendary recording artists.

The exhibition is always on the move...

...Look out for us: your region may be next!

Wollzelle was tasked with producing a travelling show to bring these efforts to the attention of fashion enthusiasts worldwide. The Gucci-GRAMMY® exhibition comprises showcases featuring exclusive memorabilia, interactive displays, and listening stations. The brand's latest collections are tastefully presented as well. There are currently three sets of exhibits touring Europe, Asia, and the Americas on a continuous schedule.

Our skills in environmental design, application development, and identity management converged to make this exhibition a success. The custom displays look luxurious, stand out in crowded environments, and protect the exhibits. Yet, they are modular and easy to assemble. They can be installed in three configurations, from small to large, without sacrificing any crucial item or information. The elegant curved walls hide a bespoke computer system that drives interactive stations from which visitors can explore the topic at their own pace. Trivia games and quizzes draw users into a world of luxury and art, listening stations allow them to enjoy the freshly restored tracks, and documentaries offer tours of the GRAMMY® museum. The exhibition is fully multilingual, and can be set up in nine languages.
