An independent product studio from Vienna, running Fluxiom and taking on selected design and software work.

## Still building

Wollzelle was founded in 2000. Our work ranges from websites for independent artists and publications for nonprofits to [Gucci.com](/work/gucci-com.md) and digital experiences created for [Gucci’s GRAMMY® partnership](/work/gucci-grammy-partnership-launch-event.md).

[Fluxiom](https://www.fluxiom.com), launched in 2006, remains our main product. It is actively maintained, supported, and developed.

The studio has changed shape over the years. Designers, developers, project leads, clients, and collaborators all left their mark on the work collected in our [full archive](/archive.md).

## Three chapters

Wollzelle began in 1998 as a student collective spanning architecture, graphic design, 3D, and code: people from different disciplines exploring and tinkering together. That mix has been the core ever since.

1. 2000–2015
**Studio years**
Wollzelle grew as a Vienna studio. Print and branding opened the doors; the web was the bet, and we went all in early. Long-running client relationships and products of our own came out of it.
2. 2016–2022
**Building over publishing**
The work moved off the public web: in-store installations, sales training apps, and the management tools behind them. Small teams, prototypes over specs, rethinking workflows nobody had questioned in years. It shipped to [shop floors](/work/gucci-shop-in-shop-interactive-furniture.md) and [back offices](/work/gucci-sales-training-app.md).
3. 2023–today
**Remote and founder-led**
Wollzelle became fully remote. The core team has been together for almost twenty years, working on Fluxiom and selected projects.
